A lifesaver!Feb 20, 2010
We bought the sea turtle for our 6 year old daughter, who was still having difficulty going to sleep by herself. (I know, I know - we consulted the sleep books years ago. Long story.) Anyway, this has done the trick! It lights up the ceiling and walls in her cozy room, as one other reviewer indicated. I even find myself wanting one-it's so very zen. The only thing missing is an ipod input and speakers for the Guided Meditations track (see this in the CD section!) It is beautiful and soothing. The ladybug is just as beautiful. My go-to gift for baby showers and birthday presents now. You can't go wrong with any of them!
Caveat-they DO turn off after 45 minutes, so you may need to reset, or know that they function as more of a "helping to sleep" light, rather than an "all-night" nightlight. Enjoy!

It came just as seen on the site, and it works exactly as described :-) my 18 month girl is so happy with it and we sing twinkl everynight while looking at the stars all over the room and she loves it when the stars appears on her Bjs :-) i bought the turtule and the ladybug..both are nice:-) the speed & the package were as excpected,definatly will deal with them again :-)
the light stay on for 45min and then it turn off..thats work perfectly for me, as just by the time she go to sleep it will be off. if you are looking for somthing that will stay on all night long then this could be not for you :-) anyway my girl and me are enjoying it :-)

My daughter absolutely loves this lady bug light! She wants to hold it and carry it around and says it is beautiful and it is BUT and it is a bit BUT I bought this as a night light for her. I was always under the impression that night lights stayed on ALL night not just 45 mins. We haven't gotten much sleep this week because she wakes up in the middle of the night screaming for it to be turned on. She doesn't get that it turns itself off and to just go back to sleep. I'm really about ready to throw it out the window it has caused so much grief over the last few days that I'm sorry I ever bought it. We have tried putting it in the crib with her but she doesn't want it in there becuase it is to bright close up but if we put it out she can't reach it to turn it back on herself. So this is a great LIGHT but would not buy it if you are looking for a NIGHT LIGHT!!!

My two year old granddaughter will not go to bed without her Lady Bug and plays with it during the day when she puts her "babies to bed". She doesn't understand or care about the constellations yet, nor does my 15 month old grandson who wants the turtle at naptime and bedtime - he likes to gaze into the turtle's back at the "stars" and change the colors. My 5 yr old grandson liked my turtle so much, he got the Sea turtle and it is the only "non-dinosaur" critter he allows on his bed. He doesn't fully understand about the constellations yet either, but he likes having "the twinkle stars shine over him at night." Needless to say, our family is sold on them all.

Works great I bought two one for a 15 month boy who would quickly stop crying when it is turned on, it also did not take him very long to figure out how to to turn it back on after it turns off every time he wakes back up. same for our 3 year old girl who had issues of sleeping in her own room untill I purchased this.
This was our second purchase of the turtle & ladybug that we gave as gifts to others because they work so well.
